As a small business, we like to be up-front about our delivery costs. We try to keep our delivery charges to a minimum and we don’t make any profit from delivering products to our customers. Our standard delivery costs are £4.95. Delivery of very large or heavy orders will cost £7.95. Most delivery charges apply per order, and not per item, so you will only pay once. The exception to this is with certain drop-ship purchases only when they are part of an order with other items as well; in those cases there will be a single additional delivery charge of £2.50 because your order will be sent out in separate parcels. Please see individual product pages for information on this.
Most items are delivered from our Somerset warehouse, and others are delivered directly from our suppliers, based across the UK. Orders sent out by us will normally be delivered by Royal Mail; some of our suppliers may use different delivery companies. Regardless of who has shipped your order, the delivery and returns costs and conditions to you are the same.
We do not currently offer any European or other International shipping and can only deliver to UK addresses.
Because of the creative nature of the businesses we work with, many of the products on our site are either made or finished to order, so the delivery times will be longer than for items held in stock. Please see the individual product pages for more information on the delivery times of each item and make sure that you are happy with them before placing your order.
Where no specific delivery time is stated on the individual product page, we aim to deliver within 4-6 working days.
PLEASE NOTE – during the current Covid-19 pandemic, all deliveries are subject to possible delays beyond our control. We will despatch as quickly as possible but please allow extra time for your parcel to arrive. We very much appreciate your understanding.
While we firmly believe that the best things in life are worth waiting for, we do understand that sometimes life runs away with us and we can all find ourselves needing something in a bit of a hurry. Of course we want to help you out as much as we can – if you are in need of something more quickly than the stated delivery time, please do get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org before ordering and we will see what we can do to speed things along, but please bear in mind that it won’t always be possible to improve on the quoted dates.
Order Updates and Split Shipments
Once your order has been received and processed by us, we’ll send you through an order confirmation with the full details of your order, your receipt and the expected despatch date. Please note that we won’t split deliveries as a matter of course unless the items are coming from different locations, so your shipment date will be the date on which the last item will be ready to send. If you would rather receive the rest of your order sooner, please drop us a line at email@example.com and we will be happy to take care of that for you, however please do note that splitting your shipments will normally mean paying additional delivery costs for each separate parcel.
Once your order ships, we will send you through an email to let you know it’s on its way. The expected delivery date will be included in your shipment email. In the unlikely event that your order doesn’t arrive within the expected timescale, please contact us to let us know. We may have to wait 15 working days from original despatch before sending a replacement, as this is the period of time the Royal Mail allow before classifying a parcel as lost, however we will treat each order on an individual basis and will endeavour to get your goods to you as quickly as possible, especially where the order was originally flagged as urgent.
